The Perfect Christmas Cheeseboard



An unforgettable and luxuriant tasting celebrating the traditional spirit of a British Christmas: indulgence.


You and your guests will each enjoy an individual platter of eight British cheeses, from classics like rich, savoury Stilton and beefy farmhouse Cheddar, to modern styles like the bold and fruity Lincolnshire Poacher; and featuring the gorgeously gooey French Vacherin.


We open with a glass of bubbly, and the cheeses are accompanied by a (literally) staggering range of drinks including white and red wines, porter, white port and an intriguingly complex sherry.


The top-quality artisan cheeses are complemented with a filling selection of sourdough breads, Christmas cake, chutney and fruit paste.


This seated tasting is perfect for an office Christmas party. Ned himself or one of our expert mongers will take you through the selection with a talk full of stories, myths and legends about the cheeses and their makers, along with suggestions for how to put together your own perfect Christmas cheeseboard.


We can hold this feast of seasonal excess at your offices, or one of a range of luxurious venues in locations all over central London provided by Davy’s Wine Bars.


This seated tasting works best for up to 50 guests – for larger groups we recommend the Cheese Station - a bountiful buffet of artisan cheeses, drinks, breads and condiments staffed by a team of expert mongers.


The talk (and tasting) lasts about 90 minutes with plenty of time for questions and chat. Allow about two hours from welcoming you all to saying goodbye full of cheese and Christmas cheer.
